Take Back Control of Your Workday

Guided MindBody practices created for people working in the human services fields so they can reclaim agency in their everyday work.

Your work matters to you — and to the people you serve. Despite loving what you do…

  • You feel physically exhausted, even when you get a good night’s sleep (other nights you feel lucky if you fall asleep easily and stay there until morning).

  • More and more often you feel scattered and unfocused, and it seems to take more energy from you to make everyday work decisions.

  • You frequently feel overwhelmed, leaving you emotionally and mentally depleted at the end of most workdays.

  • Time off is a welcomed reprieve, but you’ve noticed it takes longer for you to relax and you feel drained again after just a few days back at work.

You know your work makes a positive difference in the world and you want to keep doing it, AND, you also know you can’t keep working this way.

The good news? You don’t have to - there is another way to approach your work that makes you feel…

  • In control of how your workday unfolds, even when the unexpected arises.

  • More physical and mental energy throughout the day, allowing you to focus with ease and experience joy in your everyday work again.

  • That you are making a meaningful and positive difference in your client’s lives while maintaining your emotional health and overall wellbeing.

  • Empowered by a consistent work/life balance that generates true restoration while supporting the development of healthy work relationships.

Because you are human and your connection to your humanity is a superpower - and even superpowers need to be cared for. That’s why this space was created.

Hi, I’m Sarah! I’m a MindBody Career Coach and Breathwork Facilitator who helps people working in human-centered roles cultivate agency in their everyday work so that they can keep doing what they love without sacrificing their wellbeing.

I’ve been where you are.

I have worked as a career coach in the non-profit sector for the last 14 years. I know the real pressures of working in human service organizations and institutions, where everyone is doing their best to help their clients, patients, or students while having access to fewer and fewer resources. As heart-centered people, it can feel like we don’t have any choice but to give everything we have to our work and the people we help.

The truth, though, is that working this way is not sustainable - but you already know that.

While we can’t immediately change the larger systems and the value that is assigned to our work, we can learn to approach our work days in ways that allow us to help others while feeling grounded, empowered, and with energy left for other important areas of our lives.

Because the world needs your contribution AND you deserve to flourish while making your community a better place for everyone.
