Online Group Breathwork and Mindfulness Classes
Participating in Group Breathwork and Mindfulness Journeys can help us feel more deeply connected to others and ourselves.
All Group Classes are offered online, allowing you to embark on the transformative journey of Breathwork and Mindfulness from the comfort of your own space. You are free to show up as you are and can choose to have your camera on or off throughout the session (*keeping your camera on can enhance feelings of connection). A trauma-informed approach is embraced, meaning your autonomy and right to choose is always respected. Music will be played during the guided portions of each class.
The Flow of Each Class
All Breathwork and Mindfulness classes will follow the same rhythm, with each class lasting 75 minutes:
Every class begins by setting an intention (focus), such as “Building Deeper Self-Trust by Cultivating Inner Safety,” “Letting Go of Fear and Anxiety While Enhancing Self-Compassion,” “Connecting With Your Unique Voice,” etc.
A demonstration of the breath pattern that will be used during the breathwork practice.
Guided meditation & visualization to help you move into a relaxed and open state while quieting an active mind.
Guided Breathwork lasting at least 20 minutes (always practiced lying down for safety and comfort).
Guided meditation and visualization that supports deep, conscious rest.
Journal prompts or free writing to support the integration of new insights, awareness, and perspectives.
Each time you practice these powerful and transformative tools, you will have a unique experience that deepens your inner healing journey while restoring your mind-body connection.
How to Prepare
Yourself:
Do not eat a heavy meal 2 hours before the class (a heavy meal might make breathing uncomfortable and potentially cause feelings of nausea).
Limiting your water intake 30 minutes before breathing is recommended.
Wear comfortable, loose clothing.
Your Space:
Find a space in your environment where you can lie down and not be disturbed for the entire 75-minute class.
Make your space comfortable by placing a mat on the floor or lying on your bed. Dim your lights or light a candle if it is safe to do so.
Bring an extra blanket for warmth.
Silence all of your devices. Distractions can take away from the experience.
Have a notebook or journal available for writing and something to write and/or colour with.
*Breathwork is NOT a replacement for any other form of therapy or medical professional advice; however, it can support and enhance other therapeutic methods by providing an additional layer of support.
